Come join the Redwood Library staff on June 6th, for our first ever Pub Trivia Challenge. Teams of up to five compete over five rounds for honor, glory, prizes and general bragging rights. Gather your friends for a night of all-you-can-eat pizza and beer and test your trivia knowledge in the Nation’s oldest continuously running library.
Step through the Redwood's doors on Saturday, December 9 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm for our Holiday Open House. The Open House will feature Christmas carols performed by the Chariho High School choir, a pop-up exhibition of select treasures from our vault, Christmas book display, scavenger hunt, children's craft and refreshments All visitors will have a chance at winning raffle prizes.
Join our early Halloween celebration as Peter Chabot presents Edward Gorey’s eerie cartoons, Washington (Rip) Irving reads from his ancestor’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and actors perform the witches’ scene from Macbeth. Cake and champagne will be served afterwards.

Join us on Friday, June 16 at 6:30 pm for Bloomsday - a celebration of the anniversary of James Joyce's prolific novel Ulysses. This celebration will include actors and actresses in period costume reading excerpts from the piece, accompanied by musicians.
Free and all are welcome to join in on the festivities.
