When

A tour of the library is offered daily at 2pm. A donation of $5.00 is requested for persons aged 12 and above. No reservations are required.

Materials are available at the Reference Desk for a self-guided tour.  (For group tours, please see details below.)

Content

Tours by appointment are conducted by staff members.  Tours last approximately half an hour. To accommodate the interests of specific groups, tours can also be tailored to focus on various aspects of the Library, such as art, literature, history, architecture, and Special Collections.

Group Tours

Group tours are required to make reservations. For groups, a $100 donation is requested for the basic tour, which includes the history of the library and a tour of the building. For a tour tailored to a specific interest, a donation of $150 is requested.
